# generateEditFundingInstrumentUrl

Generates an edit funding instrument URL.

## Returns [GenerateEditFundingInstrumentUrlPayload](/braintree/graphql/reference/types/generate-edit-funding-instrument-url-payload)

Details for editing a funding instrument.

### Returned fields

- `clientMutationId` (`String`): An identifier used to reconcile requests and responses. 255 characters maximum.
- `billingAgreementToken` (`ID!`) — non-null: The Billing Agreement token.
- `approvalUrl` (`URL!`) — non-null: The URL to which a customer should be redirected to edit the funding instrument details.
