# TransactionTaxInput

Input · GraphQL API

Information related to taxes on the transaction.

## Fields

- `taxAmount` (`Amount`): Amount of tax that was included in the total transaction amount. Does not add to the total amount the payment method will be charged. *Required for Level 2 processing* unless `taxExempt` is `true`.
- `taxExempt` (`Boolean`): Whether the transaction should be considered eligible for tax exemption. *Required for Level 2 processing*.
