Campaign Portal - Edit an Offer Campaign
Once you have saved an offer and based on the campaign's status, you can review its configuration on the first page of the Campaign Portal. Sometimes you cannot edit the campaign here, for example, you cannot edit an active campaign. See When can you edit the campaign? for more details.
You can take the following actions on a non-active campaign:

To delete an offer campaign:
From the Offer Campaign List page, click the trashcan icon in the far right of the row of the offer you wish to delete.
Click OK in the dialog to confirm the deletion.
When you expire an offer campaign, the offer becomes invalid and is removed from all mobile wallets in which it was available or active. You may only expire offers that have a status of Live.
To expire an offer campaign:
From the Offer Campaign List page, click the clock icon in the row of the offer you wish to expire.
Click OK in the dialog to confirm the expiration.
If you have an active Dynamic Expiration campaign, you can cancel any remaining dynamic expiration offers that have not yet been processed using the Cancel option on the Settings cog.
Once a dynamic expiration campaign has been cancelled, it displays as part of the Cancelled tab on the Campaign Dashboard.
You can use cloning to create a new offer that is pre-populated with values from any existing offer. This is a useful shortcut when you need to create multiple offers that are very similar.
To clone an offer campaign:
From the Offer Campaign List page, click the copy icon in the row of the offer you wish to clone. Or, you can click the Clone button on the Activation screen of the offer campaign.
In the pop-up editor, configure the start and end dates for the cloned offer and click Clone.
At this point the clone is created in a pending state. You can either open the newly created clone to edit it, or you can return to the Offers List screen.
You can use the preview feature to see how an offer will appear to wallet users.
To preview an offer campaign:
From the Offer Campaign List page, click the mobile icon in the row of the offer you wish to preview. Or, you can click the Preview button on the Activation screen of the offer campaign.
In the pop-up editor, the text and graphic elements of your offer are laid out in a default format that approximates how each element will appear in the app.
The preview feature is intended to give you an idea of how the offer will appear in the mobile wallet app. It is not an exact match. In a live wallet app, the Summary view appears as an abstract in the list of offers, while the Details view is shown when the offer is selected. These views are not shown together, as in the preview. Also, if you are using your own app instead of Paydiant’s branded app, the preview may not provide an exact match to the way the finished offer will display.
To provide an additional level of control, you can require that a campaign be approved before it becomes activated. To add this level of control, create an Offer Approver who decides if the campaign is ready to be activated. The Offer Approver can approve or reject the campaign.
To send a campaign for approval click +Send for Approval. All approvers for the network receive an email notification. When any one authorized approver approves the offer, the campaign is automatically activated and the offer creator is notified via email.
To review a campaign for approval:
Log into Offer Campaign Portal using a user account with the Offer Approver role. Click the Pending Approvals tab to show all campaigns that are waiting for approval.
Step through the Edit Campaign to examine the details of the campaign and make or note changes as needed. Click Update on any screen where you make a change. To preview how the campaign will look on the phone, click the Offers tab and use the Preview icon. On the last page of the Edit Campaign List, you can also use the Preview button to preview the campaign.
To reject the campaign:
Enter the reason for the rejection in the pop-up prompt and click Reject again. When an Offer Approver rejects a campaign, an email is sent to the offer creator indicating the rejection and the reason. The offer creator can click the link provided in the email to access the campaign in the Offer Campaign Portal and make any necessary edits, then resubmit the campaign for approval.
Repeat this process until the campaign is determined to be ready.
To approve the campaign:
- Click Activate.
An email notification is sent to the offer creator and the offer becomes live.
