Set Up Your Development Environment
Before you can integrate Invoicing, you must set up your development environment. After you get a token that lets you access protected REST API resources, you create sandbox accounts to test your web and mobile apps. For details, see Get Started.
To build an app that creates, sends, and manages invoices on the merchant's behalf:
Set the access privileges of the access token in the
scopefield to the invoicing scope:
- When you integrate Connect with PayPal, pass the
scopevalues in a URL-encoded, space-separated, and case-sensitive list.
- The merchant uses your app to connect with PayPal, log in to their software, and grant you third-party permissions.
Your app can now call the Invoicing API on behalf of the merchant.
