PayPal Champions is a global community of experts who enjoy creating and sharing their technical knowledge with others.
What is a PayPal Champion?
A PayPal Champion is an expert who goes above and beyond to advocate for PayPal. As PayPal ambassadors, Champions provide content and thought leadership across communities and solutions. They help influence and mentor others to make the most of their PayPal experience. They are selected for their advocacy based on a number of factors, including:
- Creating content, such as blogs, videos, and white papers
- Advocating on social media
- Engaging in communities and forums
- Speaking engagements and more!
Features
PayPal Champions are eligible for rewards and recognition, including:
- Online profiles in our Champions gallery
- Access to networking and engagement opportunities
- Invitations to PayPal events, including speaking and meetup opportunities
- Custom swag that identifies them as part of the Champions program
- Expert support/collaboration from our product and engineering teams
- Timely access to new products and features
Advocacy
Champions are experts in PayPal technology and engage with PayPal’s community around the globe. As ambassadors, they are encouraged to advocate for PayPal on an annual basis in at least two areas:
Content creation
- Technical articles, papers, books
- Videos, online courses, tutorials
Social outreach
- Blogs or tweets on PayPal-related topics, Twitter spaces, podcasts, webcasts
- Amplify and engage PayPal news, launches, and announcements
Community support
- Share expertise in community forums
- Contribute code/documentation on GitHub and other channels
Events & speaking engagements
- Deliver presentations at in-person or virtual events
- Host or participate in conferences, meetups, webinars, workshops, or hackathons
Customer references
- Provide success stories/videos, references, or promotion of PayPal Champion events
- Mentor other developers and companies on implementing PayPal solutions
Feedback & product development support
- Serve on focus groups, customer advisory councils, or beta programs
- Provide feedback on developer documentation/experiences
