PayPal processes chargebacks from payment networks due to a consumer initiating a reversal with their issuer. When PayPal receives a chargeback, the partner is notified through webhooks, the Payouts Reconciliation Report (PYT), and Marketplaces Case Reconciliation Report (MCR). Chargeback fees are assessed to the partner's settlement account.
