Merchant onboarding overview
Last updated: Aug 15th, 7:42am
For your merchants to accept payment on your site, they must first be onboarded with PayPal. Onboard your merchants by creating non-loginable merchant accounts.
How it works
- The merchant visits your site and starts the onboarding process.
 - You create non-loginable merchant accounts for your merchants by submitting onboarding data using the Multi-Level Account Management API.
 - You submit information and documentation needed to verify the merchant.
 - PayPal verifies the merchant through the Customer Identification Program and Know Your Customer (KYC) verification.

Prerequisite
Before you onboard merchants, make sure:
- The partner account is set up in sandbox and production.
 - The required API credentials are available to start calling PayPal API.
