Honey offers whitelist specifications

Why does Honey use whitelisting?
As part of Honey Offers, we need timely product availability information from our partners. While we rely as heavily as possible on feeds directly from partners and networks, Honey uses server-side (headless) browsers in tandem to make sure promoted products are always available to customers.
In order to ensure your customers enjoy a seamless experience, it is recommended that partners take the below steps to ensure Honey is not blocked.
How to whitelist Honey
Please whitelist Honey by choosing one of the following options:
Option 1 (preferred)
Honey’s browsers can identify themselves via a custom User-Agent.
An example is Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/41.0.2228.0 Safari/537.36 Honey/1.0.
Merchants can alter the above to fit their needs. This preferred method allows Honey to place orders more quickly by using a set of varied IP addresses and servers.
Option 2
Honey can add secret HTTP headers when connecting to your site.
An example of a HTTP header is: X-TT-1 = RandomSecureString.
Once an approach has been determined, email your Honey contact and our team will promptly configure the integration.
