Cancel Pending Payments

Pending payments are funds disbursed to a PayPal account before the seller completes onboarding. Sellers cannot access pending payments until all onboarding requirements are met. PayPal considers onboarding complete when a seller meets the following requirements:

  • Seller creates a PayPal account.
  • Seller grants you permission to perform payment.
  • Seller confirms the email address of the account.

If a seller does not complete onboarding, work with your PayPal account manager to cancel all pending payments and refund the respective buyers.
