Important: NVP/SOAP is a legacy integration method. We accept new integrations and support existing integrations, but there are newer solutions. If you're starting an integration, we recommend our latest solutions.
You can download transaction history logs from https://www.paypal.com.
You can also choose the type of file, the date range, and select which fields you would like included in the history file.
Download Steps
Log into your PayPal business account.
Navigate to the Download History page by choosing Activity at the top of the page, and then clicking Download on the right side of the Activity page.
Note: If you do not see an Activity link at the top of the page, click History, which appears in the top menu when the My Account tab is selected, and then select Download History from the History menu.
Click on the Customize Download Fields link on the right to open the Customize My History Download page. On this page, you can select the fields you would like included in the download.
Click Save to save any changes you make to this page, or Cancel to return to the Download History page.
On the Download History page, select the date range and the desired file type as well as other options.
Click the Download History button to open or save the file containing the requested history.

The following table includes an alphabetical list of some of the downloadable history fields, a description of each field, typical field format, and any related payment button fields or IPN fields.
Note: IPN or Instant Payment Notification is PayPal's transaction notification service. For more information see IPN Intro.
