Pay Later offers for Australian customers include PayPal Pay in 4, which is a short-term installment product that provides eligible PayPal customers the option to split purchases into 4 interest-free payments for transactions between $30 AUD - $1,500 AUD. The first payment is due at the time of the transaction with subsequent payments due every two weeks.

Pay Later messaging helps you get the most out of PayPal’s buy now, pay later offers. You can use this onsite messaging to promote Pay in 4, which can help grow your sales, attract new customers, and drive customer loyalty.

Buttons

Render the Pay in 4 button in a one-time payment integration by passing enable-funding=paylater in the PayPal JavaScript SDK. For details, see enable funding.

You can render the payment buttons in a horizontal or vertical layout or as standalone payment buttons.

When customers select the button, the Pay in 4 application starts in the PayPal Checkout.

Eligibility

You are eligible to promote PayPal Pay in 4 if you meet all of the following:

  • You are an Australian-based PayPal merchant.
  • You have a one-time payment integration.
  • You have an Australian-facing website.
  • You transact in Australian dollar (AUD).

Reference Transaction or Recurring Payment integrations are not eligible. Additionally, Pay Later offers must abide by the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy, which govern the usage of PayPal, and prohibit certain types of transactions.

Note: While messaging can be displayed on your website to help promote pay later offers to your customers, no additional content, wording, marketing, or other material should be created by you to encourage use of this product. PayPal reserves the right to take action in accordance with the User Agreement
