Prerequisites

Ensure that you have configured the following requirements to accept payments via PayPal Commerce with BigCommerce.

• Your store must be using Optimized One-Page Checkout.
• Manage Payments and Manage Settings user permissions must be enabled.
• Your store must be in a supported country. All countries supported by PayPal are supported by BigCommerce, except:
  • India
  • Israel
• You must meet PayPal's country and currency requirements in order to use the following features:
  • Hosted credit/debit card fields
  • Stored credit cards
  • Stored PayPal accounts

Setup

Use the following steps to connect your PayPal merchant account with your store.

1. Go to Settings > Payments and from the list of Online Payment Methods, click "Set up" next to PayPal.
2. You will be brought to a PayPal Settings tab. Click Connect with PayPal to set up or log into your existing PayPal account.
3. Follow below steps to complete the upgrade.
